Art & Australia has a new home at the VCA.
This follows the gift by previous editor and publisher, Eleonora Triguboff, of the journal and its extensive archive to the Victorian College of the Arts at the University of Melbourne in December 2015.
Art & Australia will re-launch as a research and publishing body that focuses critically on contemporary art, especially in its theoretical, socio-cultural and geo-political contexts. Su Baker is the new editor-in-chief and Edward Colless will be editor from 2016.
In print since 1963 Art & Australia is the country’s longest running art journal.
