BIOGRAPHY

Based in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales, Dan Kyle completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the National Art School, Sydney in 2010. His work has been exhibited in Sydney and Melbourne. In 2014 Kyle was one of ten artists included in 'The Blow-In Art Collective' exhibition at Broken Hill Regional Gallery, with prominent Australian painters Guy Warren, Euan Macleod, Ann Thomson, Guy Maestri, Peter Kingston and Luke Scibberas. He has been a finalist in the Paddington Art Prize (2012, 2015) and the Mosman Art Prize (2013). Kyle has been awarded artist residencies in Maffra NSW (John Normyle Artist Resideny) and Paris (Enid NG Artist Residency). He was featured in Artist Profile, Issue 32, 2015. His work is held in the collection of the Australian Catholic University.
